Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Temporary Closure Notice

Effective Monday, March 23, 2020
Wexford Allergy, Asthma & Immunology, LLC, is temporarily
CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC

Due to the current outbreak of coronavirus, we have made the decision to temporarily close our office to patients and visitors for everyone's safety. This was not an easy decision, and we recognize the inconvenience this will be for many people. However, we feel that the safety of our staff, our patients and families, and the general public welfare is of the highest importance and overrides all other concerns.

We are taking the following measures to continue to provide you with the care you need, to the best of our ability under the circumstances:

  • Availability: We will continue to be available for all phone calls, including sick calls, prescriptions, and general concerns.
  • Televisit appointments: We have implemented a telemedicine system, which allows us to perform patient visits remotely for both new and established patients. We are in the process of contacting patients with upcoming scheduled appointments to reschedule and make the necessary arrangements for a televisit appointment. We will try to take patients in order of when their currently scheduled appointments fall. If you would like to schedule a televisit appointment, please call the office at 724-719-2441.
  • Allergy shot patients: Please be reassured that a temporary halt in your injections will not have a major impact on your treatment. If any of your vials of serum expire in the interim, we will do our best to find a solution to that issue that will be financially fair and manageable for you and for us.
  • Xolair and other injection patients: We may be able to find an alternative location for you to receive your injections, such as a hospital-based infusion center.

We thank you for your patience and understanding, and we wish you and your families good health and safety.
